St. Bonaventure described God as an ever-flowing fountain of love giving life to all things and inspiration to humankind.

The blessing of clean and abundant water is one that many of us take for granted.

Everything we have is a gift from God. No one can control what’s most important. We often receive far more than we deserve.

In her novel Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte provides a different perspective on that thinking. She writes: “Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.”

What do we do when there are many good options or only bad ones? We turn to the Holy Spirit for guidance.

In verse 8 of Psalm 139, we read, “If I ascend to the heavens, you are there; if I lie down in Sheol, there you are.” We cannot escape from God’s presence.
