As Christians we believe physical death does not hold the final answer. Life has not ended, but really begun in a new, powerful way.

As hard as it is to cope with, whatever causes you sadness is a part of life and a hidden opportunity to get closer to God.

Jesus said, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” (John 15:11)

Reach out to your mom today. If she’s no longer with us, spend a moment in prayer for the woman who loved you first—and loved you most.

We live in a fast-paced society. Because of that we often miss what we can learn and experience when we have patience and wait for things to unfold.

May my day be filled with gratitude for God’s many blessings. Let awareness of my blessings and the goodness of the earth inspire me to bless others.
