God didn’t put us here to fix, but just to be there.
Pray
God, teach us presence.
Aid us in being intentional as we serve.
Show us that we are participating in your work.
Give me the gumption to always show up.
Give me listening ears and a quiet mouth.
Lord, I desire to act in the art of presence.

Call a friend or a family member today and really listen to how they are doing. Practice presence with this person. Focus on what they are saying, and not on how you’re going to respond.
