When we pray, we ask for help because we need it. May today’s prayer give you the strength to keep seeking.

No matter how much we practice patience, no matter how much we pray, sometimes the morning arrives when we must take the action we’ve been contemplating, and it can be scary. No matter our choices, God will give us the courage to act.

Jesus said, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete” (John 15:11). Think about letting go a bit. There are times we just need to let down our pride and dance. Right now, right here. As children we did this freely and without hesitation.

We sometimes feel a lack of spirit in the overwhelming necessity of everyday tasks. May this prayer help you invite God into all your repetitive duties.

We sometimes get so caught up in fear it’s hard to remember all we have to be grateful for, and yet there’s an array of things–an abundance.

Begin today thinking of the words of Mother Teresa, “Do not let the past disturb you, just leave everything in the Sacred Heart and begin again in joy.”

Even the smallest of misunderstandings can grow into a web of confusion and hurt feelings. Has some issue in your life felt like a knot that only grows tighter?
