With the feast of St. Francis of Assisi on October 4, we as a Church—and beyond—take a moment to recognize the world-shaking faith and example of this holy man.

For some people, pain is a constant companion. Offer up this prayer for them today.

Each one of us is called to discover and do God’s will. We live with open hands knowing that God will provide for our daily needs. We pray to be forgiven to the degree that we forgive.

For far too long, the topic of mental health has lurked in the background, leaving people to suffer in silence.

God sends us blessings throughout the day, though we don’t always recognize them. To cultivate a grateful heart, first pray for openness.
