In the Christmas season, let us see the light, be the light, and bring forth the light in ourselves and those around us.

Prayer and gratitude go hand-in-hand.

Every human being needs camaraderie and friendship. But it’s all too easy to fail to reach out for connection when we need it most.

Today, ponder these uplifting lyrics: “O, the deep, deep love of Jesus/Vast unmeasured, boundless, free/Rolling as a mighty ocean/in its fullness over me.”

When my life is lacking simplicity or discipline, whenever it feels chaotic, I sometimes fantasize about living like a monk or a friar.

No matter the time or place, there are always challenges for young people growing up. We need to be a guiding light and safe place for them during their time of growth and discovery.
