In order to learn anything, we must first accept our limitations. How can we be better Christians if we do not approach God with a humble heart?

The quiet nobility of the trees, the songs and sounds of the forest, and the sensation of being surrounded by a pulsing lifeforce all combine for what can be a sublime spiritual experience, if we open ourselves up to it.

Throughout our lives, our faith is going to experience ebbs and flows. Over time it will grow, change, and even, at times, be challenged.

As it is written in Matthew 7:1–2: “Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.”
