Sharing the Word

The rewards of discipleship are beyond calculation. “No matter how much you have given up,” Jesus says, “you’ll get infinitely more in return.”

Today we honor Mary and ask for her continued care and support. As members of one family in Christ, let us praise God for this great mother of our Church.

When we sing God’s songs we gaze on God’s face. When we sing with God’s people we deepen our life with them. Thanks be to God for the psalms.

From Caesarea Paul got to Rome and preached confidently to all who came to him. He was faithful to the mission he had received from Jesus.

As Acts of the Apostles draws to a close, Paul is poised to move forward to the capital of world, from which he will proclaim the gospel everywhere.

Paul’s farewell discourse to the Ephesians is filled with assurance and encouragement for his people. He expresses deep affection for them and they for him.
