Marian apparitions bring us so much guidance, beauty, and sustenance. The apparition of Our Lady of Knock, Ireland, is the only apparition where not a word was spoken by the Blessed Mother.
Will we see our pets and other creatures in the next life? Only God can answer a question like this.
Padre Pio reminds us that if we walk with God there is no reason to worry about every step. God wants us to keep looking toward the ultimate destination.
If you look closely at Christ on the San Damiano Cross, as painted on this cross, you will see that it is neither a bloody body nor one twisted in anguish.
Peter believed in Jesus’ forgiveness and love. Ask God to forgive you for yesterday’s sins—and forgive yourself as well.
Padre Pio suffered from poor health his entire life, beginning around the age of 9. In his later life, after his ordination to the priesthood, he was separated from his religious community for almost five years because of his health.

All of creation finds a home in God’s love, care, and providence. And all turn to God for their sustenance, dependent on God’s grace and love. This is a vision of the kingdom of God, a vision we can find comfort in, which promises that we all belong.
Padre Pio’s spiritual life was everything to him and everything he did contributed to it. He made the time because it was important to him.
