There is perhaps nothing as beautiful as the gift of a true friend. A friend can often be a reflection of God’s love for each of us. For that we are truly blessed.

One of the pivotal moments in St. Francis’ life occurred when he embraced a leper, someone who had been seen by most people as an outcast in society.

Through her writings, St. Clare of Assisi offers us a guide to a stronger faith life.

Often when children want to be heard they will simply continue to raise their voices until someone takes notice. As we grow older we still want to have our voices heard, but we know that yelling is usually ineffective. There are other ways, though, and we also can speak through our actions.

Bullying is rampant. It’s everywhere. It can be deadly. And it needs to stop.

Equality is something that every individual deserves and seeks, simply because of their humanity. Unfortunately, it is not always reflected in society and daily life. As members of the body of Christ, it is our duty to work with our brothers and sisters to ensure that all are welcome at the table.
