Reflect
The path of Jesus is one of perpetual, beautiful movement. As a shepherd, he will find us, no matter how far away and lost we are. As the Way and the Truth he asks us to follow him, and we do. How has this pattern of being found and following been present in your life?
Pray
Today I will try my hardest
let go of of worrying
about my decisions,
releasing to you my heartaches,
my self-centered obsessions,
because you know
my exact location.
Jesus, no matter where I find myself today—
I will know that we are together on the path
you, coming toward me,
and me, coming toward you.
Act
Today, as you travel the literal paths in your life (your sidewalk, front steps, routes driving to work or the grocery store, the map you follow to your family if you’re traveling) imagine Jesus there at every milepost, every marker.
