Sharing the Word

We have all been called by Jesus to be with him and learn from him. The feasts of the apostles serve to remind us of who and what we are.

If the kingdom--the Church--is not everything we would like it to be, it’s because the Church is what Jesus said it would be--a project that involves growth, development, incompleteness.

Jesus’ critics want him to limit his benevolence to certain times and certain days. Jesus refuses to allow his kindness to be limited.

The signs of God’s plans are neither few nor hidden. It’s up to us to interpret those signs. Where do I look for signs of God’s plans for me?

You have to be strong and courageous to pursue the kingdom in our world. It’s not easy. Jesus never said it would be.

The timing of Jesus’ coming has not been revealed. We have to wait in watchfulness. It’s up to us to be ready to receive him.
