Today’s psalm reading speaks of God’s care for the brokenhearted. The Lord saves those who are crushed in spirit. God watches over the just. The sufferings of God’s servants are always of concern to him.
Forgiveness is constant from God’s side, which should become a calm, joyous certainty on our side. Mercy received will be mercy passed on.
The way we see others is determined by the lens through which we look. Perhaps a previous experience shades this one, or the other person is influenced by some other event or action, not necessarily mine.
