It is our job to keep the work of the Catholic saints going as heirs to the tradition.

Life is change. But it is not antithetical to what came before, it is not a negation of that, or an elimination of it. In some ways, it might be a building upon it.

For us, as human beings, death is dark and scary and real. Even though we believe and trust in God, death can cause anxiety and anguish.

Looking back I see how easy it was to blame God when I was the one who had gone away—forsaking the healing sacrament of God’s grace.

How blind are we to many of the situations around us? Are we too caught up in our own little worlds?

When we are at our best, we are most able to carry out the work God has given us with energy and joy.
