hands holding a cross necklace

Reflect

The cross was once a sign of humiliation and death. But because of Jesus, it has become a sign of freedom, hope, and boundless love. Philippians 2 reminds us that Christ, though divine, emptied himself and became a servant—obedient to the point of death. He lifted us by lowering himself. Today, we don’t just look at the cross—we exalt it. Not because suffering is good, but because love transforms everything.

Pray

Crucified and risen Lord, thank you for loving me to the very end. Teach me to see your cross not as a burden but as a doorway to grace. Help me to carry my own crosses with humility, remembering that you walk with me. May I become a sign of hope to others, just as you have been for me.

Act

Intentionally wear or carry a cross today. Let it be your silent prayer and reminder of the one who turned suffering into salvation.
