This week, as we celebrate Ascension Sunday, we hear the Gospel account of Jesus’ return to his Father in heaven.

Today we look for signs of Christ’s presence in communities where the gospel is preached. The lives of believers should exhibit the power of Christ at work.

Our efforts on God’s behalf don’t always get the response we would like. All we can do is continue trying.

Bullying is an epidemic in which we all play a role.

The Lord looks out for me here and now, and continuously works at saving me. My response has to be ongoing gratitude–a grateful heart.
