Psalm 119 is the longest psalm in the Bible. In a series of synonyms the text announces God’s outreach to his people. It expresses commitment to the word of God delivered by the people in various situations.

During the time when there were two and three popes each claiming the papacy, Saint Catherine sided with Pope Urban VI. She was named a Doctor of the Church in 1970.
