Reflect

Sometimes people talk about the will of God as something far off, distant, and in the future. We can forget that our present, your current, daily life is found smack in the middle of the will of God. St. Teresa of Avila reminds of this when she says, “Trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.”

Pray

Daily Friend,
Being in your will does not mean I have to go off searching and doing to be in your will.
I am in your sacred, unfolding will just as life finds me here, right now.
My life right now is holy and pleasing to you.
Help me to always know and believe that.
Amen.

Act

Spend time reflecting on prayers written by St. Teresa, especially “The Prayer of St. Teresa of Avila,” which begins: “Let nothing disturb you. Let nothing frighten you.” What speaks to your heart, and what may God be saying to you through her words?
