Pause+Pray

Sometimes things go wrong. It takes trust to remember that even when things don’t go the way we want, God is not deaf to our prayers.

Doors are such a large part of our lives and yet we never really think about them when we pass through them.

“Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly” (Proverbs 14:29).

“Disciple” sounds pretty serious--as in the Apostles, saints, and martyrs who we emulate so much. But we don’t have to view it as a loaded phrase or some unattainable goal.

It’s hard to appreciate the natural world from inside. If you can, take a walk and immerse yourself in the wonders of our planet. You’ll find God there.
