Waiting for Direction

Reflect

Zélie Guérin Martin (1831-1877) initially believed that she was called to be a woman religious, but poor health closed that door. Instead, she became a wife and mother, Zélie’s devotion inspired all five of her daughters who lived to adulthood to become nuns—including the Little Flower, St. Thérèse of Lisieux.

Pray

St. Zélie Martin, help me to discern when to act—
and when to be patient and wait on the Lord.

Amen

Act

Trust that God will make your path clear. Don’t rush a decision, regardless of what the world may seem to demand.
