Reflect
When you think about Our Lady, what comes to mind? Maybe it’s her obedience, purity, or beauty. But how often do you ponder Mary’s receptivity to God–her willingness to listen?
Pray
Blessed Mother,
You heard the praying of the Psalms in the temple as you grew up,
and you heard the greeting and message of the angel Gabriel at the Annunciation,
and you listened to teachings of your son, Jesus, in his ministry.
Through it all, you said little and always remained open to the grace of God.
That radical openness to the Word made it so that you could proclaim,
“The Almighty has done great things for me.”
Pray that we too can, even if only in a small way, remain open
to what the Lord has prepared for us.
So that we may draw closer to the Trinity.
Amen.
Act
