Reflect
How many times in Scripture do we hear the words calling us to set our gaze upon him? Look up! Don’t look down at the self and where your feet take you. Shepherd, look up! Look up at the star and where God is leading you. The Magi chose to follow God’s sign, which led to the king of kings.
Pray
Jesus,
Our gaze and our posture are so important for the health of our prayer.
Help me to get myself out of the way and
to look up so that I may find my way to you,
just as the Magi did.
