Reflect
Sometimes when we look in the mirror, we say things to ourselves that we would never say to someone else. We find all of our flaws, all of the things that we wish were different. But in doing so, we forget that we are wonderfully made in God’s image. We also forget that there is a great deal underneath what we see in the mirror. What’s inside matters, too. Sometimes we just have to look deeper.

Lord, help us to remember that
when we look at ourselves,
we are also gazing at your face.
May we remember
that we are so much more than
what we see on the outside.
And may we celebrate ourselves as children of God.
