Reflect
Blessed Solanus Casey often said, “Thank God ahead of time.” Gratitude fueled his quiet service at the monastery door, where he listened, blessed, and believed for miracles. Galatians 6:2 invites the same: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Gentleness doesn’t grab headlines, but it changes stories—one kind word, one open door at a time.
Pray
Jesus,
Meek and humble of heart, teach me the ministry of small gestures.
May my everyday kindness echo your gentle strength.
Make me a quiet presence of peace in noisy places.
Help me remember that service is sacred even when it’s unseen.
Let the smile I offer, the burden I lift, or the listening I give become acts of worship.
Shape my heart to love not only when it’s easy, but especially when it costs something.
Act
Offer a small act of love today that costs you something—your time, your attention, your comfort. Let it be a sign that your heart is learning from God’s.
