Reflect

One of my favorite practices is that of Kintsugi–which means “join with gold.” This Japanese art repairs broken objects by filling the cracks or broken places with gold lacquer. The result demonstrates the reality that, even though we are all broken in some way, we can embrace those breaks and still be made whole again.

Pray

Lord,
I am broken.
Find my chips and cracks
And fill them with your love,
Making me whole again.

Act

Look at items you have that are chipped or cracked and see them not as something to be discarded but rather as a reminder of our imperfections.
