Reflect
Prayer can become a laundry list of intentions so the Lord can get you through your day-to-day problems. God sent his only Son not to conquer the oppressors that caused our problems, but to change our hearts from bitter, hurried, worried to calm, forgiving, joyful.
Pray
Jesus, you taught us what it means
to live a life of mercy, love, forgiveness, conversion, growth.
As I seek you in prayer, change my heart.
Transform me into who you need me to be.
Amen.
