We are to confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead. Then we will be justified.
God’s plans are to set things right–to bring all creation to fulfillment. He wants to bring them into the final glory of his heavenly city.
With our daily routines, our superficial concerns, our sins it’s easy to forget that the kingdom of God is always near. It’s easy to lose track of the presence of the Lord.
What Jesus has to say about the end times is for our benefit. To the extent that we are in accord with Jesus, we are in harmony with all that lies ahead.
In the time before Christ’s final coming in glory interim catastrophes will afflict the world. But nothing is more powerful than God’s love and care for us.
