I hope that in our life of faith we can bring out our full selves so that we can express our doubts and our faith and have open conversation so that we can explore the authenticity of our faith. So that when our last breath comes or in the days preceding it, we’re not in that space of uncertainty and relying on someone else to tell us what to think or be or do. This doesn’t lead to an arrogance, it just leads to a profound way of being in the world.
