Sharing the Word

This act of care and courtesy--washing the disciples' feet--that is so far beneath the dignity of their master, is something that the disciples themselves are now being called on to exercise in turn.

We each have a fundamental choice to make between light and darkness. And we make that choice by the way in which we relate to Jesus today.

If you follow Jesus and accept his shepherding, he will lead you into eternal life, eternal happiness, eternal oneness with himself and the Father.

Jesus leads us and loves us and guides us and protects us. We can’t be what we are meant to be or get to where we belong with any other guide but him.

Our acceptance of Jesus as bread of life is itself a gift that can only be bestowed and accepted through the goodness of the Spirit of the Lord.

The Lord gives us his flesh to eat and his blood to drink and that constitutes a guarantee of our sharing the life of Jesus and the Father forever. Nothing unites us with the Lord Jesus more deeply than our ...
