Sharing the Word

Isaiah’s prophetic proclamation continues to look forward to the time of God’s kingdom. What Isaiah looked forward to, Jesus offered his followers during his earthly ministry, and offers us today.

The prophet Isaiah continues to instruct God’s people about God’s providential plans for their future. God will serve as a wall of safety for those who are his own.

We are to confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead. Then we will be justified.

There may have been difficult times in your life: a failure, or a struggle with a sense of unworthiness before God. But hopefully what followed was forgiveness and realizing that God never stops loving us.

God’s plans are to set things right--to bring all creation to fulfillment. He wants to bring them into the final glory of his heavenly city.

With our daily routines, our superficial concerns,  our sins it’s easy to forget that the kingdom of God is always near. It’s easy to lose track of the presence of the Lord.
