Even in their fallen state men and women are the objects of God’s care. The garment of skins that God makes for them shows his continued concern.

Evil is one of the mysteries of creation. We don’t understand all the implications of original sin, but we know that it has affected us and that we are all somehow sinners.

God’s rest on the seventh day was not a matter of recuperating from the effort of creation. Rather it was a matter of taking pleasure in what he had accomplished.

God creates effortlessly. He creates with a plan, in a certain order. We may not understand it all or see how all creation fits together, but we do know that it’s God’s work.
