We should strive to get better at praying the rosary. If my daughter were sixteen years old and still couldn’t draw a square, that would be a problem.

Jesus tells us that we will have trouble in this world but that we need not fear since he has conquered the world. We know that, and yet we all have times when we are scared.

God looks at us the way a good dad looks at his son or daughter.

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience” (Col 3:12).

Bonaventure and Francis each came to La Verna with aching hearts and heavy minds.

Mary offers to share with us her graces, her love, and her mystery, symbolized in the roses adorning her halo.

Compassionate God, thank you for giving us a capacity to care and to come to another’s aid.

The created cosmos is a book written by God just for us. When we pause to ponder, we “read” about God’s goodness, power, beauty, and presence. What do the images all around us tell you about God?

We all imitate Mary and experience her reality every time we attend Mass.

Pop-up demonstrations surprise us with their energy and brevity. Pop-ups can be fun. I will be alert today to opportunities to pop-up a prayer of gratitude.
