When children are little we tell them to use their words to express their feelings. We do that because it’s important to speak up and be heard.
Today do a small act of love for someone. Open a door for someone, or just say “please” or “thank you.”
Ephesians 5:18–19 counsels us “to be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another [in] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and playing to the Lord in your hearts.”
“Humanity in every age, even today, looks to works of art to shed light upon its path and destiny,” said Pope St. John Paul II.
Throughout the day, we encounter a variety of people who may be strangers. May this prayer support you in knowing that what you give to all brightens the world.
