Mary was chosen before she was born to bear Christ into the world. In her immaculate conception, we see the sheer generosity of God’s grace. Mary didn’t earn her holiness—it was a gift. And the same God who prepared her heart wants to shape ours to receive Christ fully. We’re invited not just to admire Mary, but to imitate her openness.
Pray
Virgin Mary, full of grace, teach me to be open to God’s plan for my life. Help me say yes even when I don’t understand the whole picture. Shape my heart to be a place where Christ can dwell. Let my life give birth to something holy.
