Pause+Pray

Life is a journey we cannot predict or control. Sometimes there will be valleys and other times mountain highs. But how do you know where God is calling you?

Sadness, sorrow, tears, loss: For some of us they make all too frequent appearances. Speak to someone you love of a loss or an experience that burdens you.

In my worry about family members, I sometimes forget that there is always hope—in God. Are there moments you feel you must fix things, forgetting that God is there?

We may not be able to control what goes on in the world, but we can control how we react to it. This prayer can help us stay focused.

Everyone we know is struggling with some type of burden in his or her life. No matter what, it takes courage to face down those challenges.

Divorce is one of those painful experiences many of us do not anticipate will touch their personal lives. God does not hate divorced people or the choices they feel they have to make.
