Reflect
Ten were healed, but only one turned back to say thank you. Jesus notices—not just the healing, but the response. Gratitude isn’t just politeness—it’s a posture of faith. Naaman in the first reading returns to Elisha not just with healed skin, but a heart transformed by God’s mercy. When we take time to thank God, especially for the unexpected or overlooked mercies, we allow that healing to go deeper—into our spirits.
Pray
Lord Jesus, give me a grateful heart.
I don’t want to take Your mercy for granted.
Let me be like the one who turned back,
who saw Your hand and came running.
Teach me to thank You not only in words
but in how I live—
grateful, generous, and aware.
Amen.
Act
Name three things you’re grateful for today—one big, one small, and one that surprised you. Turn each into a prayer of thanks.
