Humanity in Jesus is free to be human and soulful instead of any false climbing into “Spirit.” This was supposed to change everything, and it still will. 

God’s vulnerability, which the cross invites us into, is a power for community with God and with each other. 

God never overpowers anyone. God’s power to create love and community.

Grasping the secret of the cross is not something we do once and for all.

Most Christians would probably be slow to admit that by these criteria almost all of us would have opposed Jesus.

We have a Divine Medicine brought down to a small but potent dosage so we can handle it and it can handle us! That is what true spiritual symbols always do.
