God’s representatives still proclaim the word of the Lord today to all who will listen. How attentive to them am I?
Human relationships are important. But what is more important to all of us is not family background but being in touch with the word of God.
Jesus casts out devils today in the power of his Church. He is still the same loving and powerful Jesus he always was.
We need to be persistent in prayer not for the sake of informing God of our needs but to train ourselves to expect and appreciate what God does for us.
Both Luke’s and Matthew’s versions of the Lord’s Prayer teach us how we are to address God, but also describe the kind of God we are to address.
