It is important for the followers of Jesus to be receptive at every moment. There must never be a time when we are not prepared for the coming of the kingdom.
The kingdom has not yet come to its fulfillment. It is still developing and it still consists in the life and action of Jesus.
Being grateful is not something that only saintly people do. Gratitude is something that we are all called to practice.
Temples, cathedrals and church buildings are signs of the presence of God in our midst. That’s why we honor our churches and offer thanks for them.
Money can lead us astray if we’re not careful. But it can also be used productively as a means to the spiritual end to which we are called.
Our pursuit of the kingdom calls for initiative, effort, exertion. Jesus invites us to make use of the opportunities that are presented to us in our pursuit of salvation.
