In giving us freedom, God has given us the power to resist his omnipotent love. He will come to us and care for us, but only if we are willing to receive his gifts.

God’s creative power is active in our lives. We need to be reminded occasionally lest we overlook God’s gifts or take them for granted.

On this day we recall that in preparation for her part in the redemption of humankind, Mary, the mother of God was always in full communion with God.

The Lord may not come immediately and make everything right this very day, but he has promised to come and he will come.

Through Isaiah, God assures his people that everything is going to be all right because the Lord will make it so.

During his earthly ministry, Jesus offered his followers what Isaiah looked forward to. Jesus offers us those same things today.
