Still today the members of the Church are served by dedicated apostles. We are grateful for preachers of the word–past and present.
Our efforts on God’s behalf don’t always get the response we would like. All we can do is continue trying.
The Lord looks out for me here and now, and continuously works at saving me. My response has to be ongoing gratitude–a grateful heart.
Our friends are great gifts to us. They are significant instruments of God’s providence.
After revisiting towns he had evangelized previously Paul planned to travel further, proclaiming the news of salvation. God seemed to have plans for their journey.
Not everything is equally important in being a follower of Jesus. Some demands of Christian life are essential while others–though nonessential–serve to preserve tranquility and order.
