Have you ever criticized yourself for not doing “enough spiritually”? Not saying the right devotions, not kneeling the whole time, not paying attention enough?
Pray
Heavenly Father,
You ask for our faithfulness
not for great tasks and efforts.
You call us because we are weary,
and You provide us rest.
You don’t want to exhaust and over-work us,
but speak with and enliven us.
Help us to trust in Your mercy and compassion.
Act
Do a small act of love with your littleness in mind, offered to God knowing that He delights in even our smallest efforts.
