How often are you surrounding yourself with noise? Do you allow yourself the time necessary to call God to mind?
Pray
Merciful God,
You approached Elijah
not in the wind, or earthquake, or fire.
You approached your servant in a still, small voice.
Help us to embrace silence and solitude,
so that we can give you the space to speak to us.
You want to be gentle and merciful to us,
allow us to open our hearts to you.
We your children need
to hear the loving words of our Father.
