Reflect
This month during a Baptism in my parish, a toddler called out loudly, “I see the baby’s face!”, and we erupted into laughter. Later, I reflected on what a perfect line of dialogue this was, and expressed with such joy. What image of the Christ Child comes to mind as the perfect face of a baby?
Pray
A prayer to the Divine Child Jesus
beseeches, “may I resemble you
in the innocence of life”.
Jesus, the innocence that shines
from the face of a baby
touches us and heals us.
Your face, and the babies being baptised.
How blessed we are to sing for them
in joining you.
Act
Be on the lookout for babies today, in the grocery store, gliding by in strollers in the street. Say a prayer for them, and for their families, as you pass.
