Reflect
Today ponder Psalm 27: “To you, Lord, I call; / my Rock, do not be deaf to me / Do not be silent toward me…The Lord is my strength and my shield, in whom my heart trusts.” What thoughts come when you read these words?
Pray
All we really want
is to be heard by you, God.
We cannot bear the silence;
we long for you to heed our prayers.
We follow the path of David
knowing you are our rock.
Can you be our strength
and shield?
Like him, can we call out to you with trust?
Act
Today, try not to overthink things in your life. Work, family, worries–know that you are not alone. Alongside you, and steadying you–God is your rock.
