Sharing the Word

If we stay attached to the vine--to Jesus--we will have life, and bring forth the abundant fruit that the Father has in mind for Jesus' disciples.

Jesus isn't calling us to kill ourselves for others, but he is calling us to make the well-being of others a primary element of our lives.

Jesus calls not just for love between himself and his followers but also for love between the disciples themselves. This love will be a source of joy in the community of believers.

We sometimes experience confusion and uncertainty. But Jesus promises His peace to us. There is no need to be afraid.

There is no point in our striving to attain power and glory for ourselves. All blessing that might come to us comes from God.

Jesus is leading his followers into the deepest truths about God. Step by step he is making them aware of the intimate life of God, and inviting them to share it.
