Reflect
Jesus applauded a woman with a flow of blood with the words, “Your faith has made you well.” In turning God, she discovered new energies that changed the course of her illness. Physicians and medical scientists speak about the “faith factor” in health or illness. When we trust God, our inner resources are enlivened and change our lives. Authentic faith can be a tipping point in the well-being of our cells and souls.
Pray
Healing God,
Help me to trust your love in troubled times.
I do not ask for a supernatural rescue operation.
I ask for the courage to trust and have faith in
Your loving power, already present in my cells and soul.
Help me to reach out to you
And claim your energy of love
That will change my life and change the world.
Amen.
Act
God is always here to help us. Recognizing that we can’t do it alone, help me to trust God’s power of love in my life. In my imagination, like the woman with the flow of blood, let me reach out to Jesus, and do all that is my power, in response, to promote my well-being and the well-being of those around me.
