Reflect
Letting go of what is familiar can feel like losing our footing. We remember the old paths because they feel safe and known. But God whispers, “See, I am doing something new! Now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43: 18b-19a). New beginnings rarely shout; they emerge quietly, like shoots through soil. They ask for trust before clarity. The question is not whether God is at work, but whether we are willing to notice.
Pray
God of new beginnings,
I admit that starting again is hard.
Help me release
what no longer gives life,
even when it once did.
Give me courage
to trust Your unfolding plan.
Sharpen my vision to perceive
what is springing forth around me.
When I am tempted to cling to the past,
remind me You go before me.
I place this new beginning
gently into Your hands.
Act
Take one small step toward what God may be inviting you to begin again.
It does not need to be bold—just faithful.
Notice how it feels to move forward.
