The Burning Lamp
When the church’s sanctuary is empty, the sanctuary lamp still burns. It’s good to know that Jesus remains in our holy place even when the pews are vacant.

We can’t predict when or where the kingdom will appear in its final fullness. We can only try to be attentive to its manifestations as we continue to pray “Thy kingdom come.”
