Sometimes we feel as if we will never be good enough to be loved fully by those around us–or by God– because shame creeps in and tells us only parts of us are good. After creating humankind God proclaims that this is very good.

Sometimes our faith can feel isolating. We can feel tension, anger, and sadness for the ways in which the Church may have hurt us or someone we love.

The promise of Jesus is that he knows the loneliness that all humans know, and experienced it through his Incarnation. Make time to do something for yourself today that brings you joy.

Struggling with depression and anxiety is not a reality one can just pray away. It is important to know that we can always seek help—medical, therapeutic, and spiritual.
