The reality of the resurrection is one of the cornerstones of our Christian faith. If we don’t believe that Jesus has risen from the dead, nothing else makes any sense.

Jesus is interested in those who are on the margins who need attention and healing. That’s why he bothers with us.

Abraham stands forth as the man of faith par excellence. Sometimes God asks difficult things of us. We turn to Abraham for strength.

Sometimes we’re fearful of what might happen to us if we allow Jesus to get too close to us. However being made free in Christ is far better than hanging on to our comfortable old demons.

We are all called to reverence Saints Peter and Paul and to respect the talents of all our brothers and sisters in Christ.

God wants to be friends with us all. We need to be responsive to his outreach. God listens to prayer if the prayer is persevering.
