Sometimes we imagine life going a certain way for us. However, sometimes God has a different plan. Let go of the life you imagined for the life God has ready for you.

We follow a God who is God of the present. God is always with us in the present moment–be that moment joyful or painful, hard or easy.

Family life is not always picture perfect like a pretty Hallmark card. Sometimes it is wracked with heartache, pain, addiction, abandonment, or loss.

Sometimes when we personally experience God active and moving in our life, he calls us to things we may not understand or feel a little uncertain about.

There is an old hymn called “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” It speaks of the privilege and comfort of the depth of intimacy Jesus shares with each of us on a personal level; through all the joys and sorrows, ups and downs of life.

God never ceases to be generous with us, even when we do not pay attention or miss things.
